Kousin Vinny

Kousin Vinny was born in Brooklyn, NY, went to Canarsie H.S and graduated from the Announcer training studio in NYC.  He started out as a mobile disc jockey, playing at local parties and events and received his first big break at WPLJ (New York).

Kousin Vinny also was an assistant for noted TV personality Robin Leach, who was known for his columns and TV shows chronicling "the lifestyles of the rich and famous, It was through radio deejay Rocky Allen, which finally got Kousin Vinny on the radio and with his own show at the age of 19. With his work on the radio talk show Celebrity Spotlight, Kousin Vinny had the chance to live out his dream of meeting various movie and music personalities and thus began his hobby of collecting memorabilia.Kousin

Vinny has also been a producer at WABC  and WKTU.  Kousin Vinny has worked on air at several Radio stations including B-103 on Long Island as well as WNNJ and WSUS in NJ, and WPLJ and WYNY New Country Y -107 in NYC, where he was known as “Cousin Vinny”.and is currently here at K 98.5.
