Brian Moore 3PM - 7PM EMAIL

Like many of his radio peers of the day, Brian grew up listening to the greats on WABC and WLS via the nighttime AM radio airwaves that could be heard seemingly everywhere in the country. Out there in the dark, Midwest night was young Brian with his transistor radio listening late into the night, knowing that someday he, too, wanted to be a part of that magical world of friendly voices and hit music. Brian’s sister, ten years his senior, happened to be friends with the station manager at her college radio station, and upon visiting Brian often had the opportunity to “watch the jocks,” and run the control board. He was hooked!

After finishing school, Brian beleaguered the Program Director at the local radio station until he agreed to give him a part-time opportunity. Working the overnight shift, early Saturday mornings and even running the board for the Sunday morning religious line up, he took shifts others avoided in order to sharpen his skills and gain experience. As his experience grew, so did his prospects. Over the years, Brian worked in everywhere from Florida to Ohio and many parts in between, playing a variety of music from rock to easy listening.

Several years ago, he discovered the Jersey Shore and fell in love with its beaches, boardwalks and the wonderful South Jersey lifestyle, that of Ocean County in particular. After six years in the afternoon at another Ocean County Radio station, Brian “moved over to the country” --Real Jersey Kountry, the New K98.5 and now serves as its afternoon host. Brian welcomes requests and would love to hear from you on the ride home every afternoon from 3-7p.
